Precision Weighting Technology, A large weight is placed near the centre of gravity on the back of the club head. This large central weight can be used to achieve optimal swing weight. Unique to PXG is that customers can experience the benefits of these adjustments during a personal fitting session. The weight is not intended to be adjusted after purchase.
Power Channel, The patented U-shaped channel is built into the inner surface of the club’s face to increase flexibility and COR in the upper sector. The channel creates movement in the face and transfers energy to simultaneously increase launch angle, launch and ball speed.
Variable Ultra-Thin Face, Since their inception, PXG irons have had the thinnest face in golf, and with GEN7, the face is now even thinner. Made of high-strength HT1770 maraging steel, the variable ultra-thin face is only 0.050 inches (~1.27 mm) thick. Combined with PXG’s patented QuantumCOR internal polymer, GEN7- irons deliver COR performance that approaches the USGA limit, helping increase distance and forgiveness, while also improving sound and feel.
