The model is based on Squareback 2’s characteristic angular sightlines and I-beam plumbing neck, but is adapted in a Long Design configuration for a smoother and more controlled putting stroke.

Description
LD Squareback 2 is 38 inches long and has an increased overall weight, which helps reduce hand dominance and create a more axis-controlled stroke. The offset of the shaft together with the heavier construction makes it possible to fine-tune the set-up and grip style for personal adaptation. The precision-milled face has a Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert, where the chain-link milling contributes to a smooth and predictable roll of the ball. The integrated sole plate in 6061 aluminium, which makes it possible to distribute more weight towards the putter’s outer edges which increases MOI (Moment of Inertia) and contributes to stability at impact. Two 25-gram tungsten weights in the sole ensure a balanced weight distribution throughout the stroke. To balance the heavier putter head, the model has a specially designed 17-inch gun-shaped grip that weighs 136 grams. The grip is non-tapered, allowing for a softer grip pressure and helping to create a smoother and more stable putting stroke.
Studio Carbon Steel (SCS), The precision milled carbon steel insert gives a characteristically soft sound and feel at impact. To meet modern requirements, it has been equipped with an electroless nickel plating that contributes to better durability.
Chain-Link Face Milling, This technology reduces the contact points between ball and putter insert through a structured surface that dampens the sound and produces the rolling properties preferred on tour. At the same time, feel and feedback are preserved at impact.
