Mizuno ST-X 230 has a round and deep profile with a lot of weight placed near the hosel which gives a little more spin and a gentle draw weighting for the majority of players, but a more shaped ball flight for many elite players (especially in the lower lofts). Description
Mizuno’s Cortech Chamber encapsulates a stainless steel weight in TPU elastomer, which reduces tension in the face and creates an additional energy source. At the same time, it moves weight closer to the face to reduce spin and contribute to a more solid, powerful feel at impact. Forged face in SAT 2041 Beta Ti, Tougher than the more common 6-4 Ti, in a more complex design with variable thickness – made possible by Mizuno’s Cortech Chamber. Unified Sole Composite, the carbon fibre plate in the sole, is now constructed in one piece to allow more weight to be moved as far out into the edges as possible for better stability. Weight moved closer to the shaft can encourage both a more shaped ball flight or a draw, depending on the player. A more rounded, slightly higher look. Sits square in the neutral hosel setting.
