The golf ball is constructed with a new, faster core that gets gradually softer towards the centre. This design gives high ball speed while allowing for increased spin and better control on shots with irons and wedges. The highly flexible mantle layer helps increase ball speed further and reduces spin from the tee, resulting in longer and straighter shots. The spherical pattern of 388 dimples creates a penetrating and consistent ball flight, which is beneficial in variable course conditions. The soft, moulded urethane elastomer shell provides excellent spin and control around the greens and complements the feel on every type of shot. The differences between Pro V1 and Pro V1x are that the X model generates a higher ball flight, a slightly firmer feel and more spin with long irons. In the short game, both models deliver top-class spin.

New Sidestamp, Each generation of Pro V1 & Pro V1x has its own sidestamp. The new version has been developed using feedback from Titleist tour players and helps you easily line up the ball with its simplicity. A small detail that can make a big difference.

Why the name?, In 2000, Titleists Golf Ball R&D developed several prototypes before selecting a ball for final testing, called Pro V1. “Pro” stood for Professional, Titleist’s leading urethane-covered golf ball on the tour and market. V stood for Veneer, a thin layer of material that improved performance and protected the ball from moisture. 1 showed that it was the first prototype. Together they formed the Pro V1.

The Evolution, No other golf ball has been on the market for as long. No other golf ball has been tested and used by golfers at all levels for such a long period. All of this has paved the way for the unique 25-year model. Pro V1 and Pro V1x provide more speed from the tee, better control with irons, more spin around the green and a better chance for players to shoot lower scores.
