The revolutionary i-FORGED process extends from the club’s high toe to its topline, improving strength, durability and feel. The forged club heads have also been further refined to maximise the feel at impact. At the same time, the ZX5i introduces the innovative MainFrame technology, a network of milled channels on the back of the club head that save weight, increase the club’s moment of inertia (MOI) and improve both ball speed and forgiveness on hits outside the sweet spot. The ZX5i is designed to offer the perfect balance between distance and control. The slightly wider sole, moderate blade length and balanced offset make the club ideal for players who want to maximise their distance and forgiveness, without compromising the ability to shape shots and work with the ball.
Tour VT Sole, For the first time ever, Srixon has included its popular Tour VT sole on all ZXi Utilities, along with a bevel on the front edge. This unique combination of sole thickness, bounce angles and profile is designed to provide an effective glide through the grass without losing speed.
Progressive Grooves, The grooves are optimised for each individual club. In the longer irons, the distance between the grooves is greater to create optimal launch and in the short irons, the laser-milled grooves are closer together and produce spin and stop control.
