Srixon Z-Star is one of the world’s most popular tour balls of all time and now in its ninth generation, with even more improvements to meet the demands of the skilled player. It is also the first tour ball where part of the cover is made from biomass, making it a more sustainable choice without compromising performance. The ball is coated with two different colours to help you more easily line up the ball on the green and see how the ball rolls. Compression: 88.

Description

As a three-piece ball with Srixon’s new patented FastLayer DG core, Z-Star delivers outstanding results. The core is soft in the middle and gradually gets harder the further out towards the cover you get. This innovative layer creates a perfect balance between distance and control, by reducing spin and increasing ball speed on shots with the driver. The result is longer and more stable shots from the tee, combined with a soft feel at every hit. In short play, Z-Star shines thanks to the advanced Spin Skin coating on the cover. Specially developed to generate maximum spin around the green, it offers superior precision and control without compromising the soft feel players love.
Spin Skin, A new, improved and slightly thicker urethane casing that “sticks” to the ball better, which increases friction and produces more spin on short approach shots to the green.
FastLayer DG, The core is the ball’s engine and Srixon uses a technology with a soft centre point on the core and then it gradually becomes harder out towards the edges. This allows you to maintain the size of the core needed to achieve high ball speed.
Biomass, For the first time in a tour ball, the urethane shell is partly made of biomass. This is a groundbreaking manufacturing process that Srixon uses to reduce its climate footprint and contribute to a more sustainable world.
