Dual Cavity Design, The dual cavity design is designed to remove mass from the club’s centre and redistribute the weight to its outer edges, greatly increasing the moment of inertia (MOI). The weight-saving insert in the outer cavity removes mass from the club’s centre, allowing the centre of gravity (CG) to be placed lower and further back for maximum forgiveness. The internal cavity is filled with PXG’s industry-leading XCOR2 technology. This lightweight polymer helps reduce mass from the core of the club head and dramatically increases the moment of inertia and forgiveness, both on heel-toe and high-low contacts on the club head.
XCOR2 Technology, XCOR2 is PXG’s revolutionary polymer material for the core, the result of years of research and development, first used in the PXG flagship model 0311 GEN6 irons. XCOR2 is extremely light and helps reduce core mass, allowing more weight to be placed low and along the back of the head, dramatically increasing the moment of inertia (MOI). Combined with PXG’s variable ultra-thin face, XCOR2 improves COR (trampoline effect) for extreme flexibility and unbeatable ball speed.
