Description
Ping i530 is designed to generate longer and higher shots that land closer to the hole. With a highly flexible face and a hollow club head, you not only get increased distance, but also a tighter dispersion. The compact design with its thin topline, narrow sole and shallow face appeals to golfers who prefer a blade-like head. The innovative technology behind the Ping i530 thins the back of the club and saves weight, improving forgiveness and allowing for tighter dispersion. The lower centre of gravity and the optimally placed polymer inside the club head give an improved feel and a more appealing sound at impact. In addition, it promotes the flexibility of the face for higher ball speeds. With tungsten weights in the toe and hosel, the swing weight can be fine-tuned during production, allowing you to adapt the club to your individual needs and preferences.
Forged face, As with Ping’s previous longitudinal, blade-like clubs, the i530 has a forged and highly flexible face in maraging C300 steel that has been precision welded to the hollow club head in 17-4 stainless steel.
Hollow Club Head, The hollow construction allows the face to flex more and create higher ball speeds for increased distance in shots. An arched sole enhances flexibility and combines with length-optimised lofts to ensure maximum height with stopping power on the greens.
More grooves – More spin, Precision milled MicroMax grooves (tighter gaps, more grooves) ensure consistent ball flight and spin in all conditions and surfaces.
