The DS-Adapt Max has a hollow construction that allows the face to flex in the same way as a driver, producing a COR that increases distance. The construction also makes it possible to place more weight low and out towards the toe and heel, which gives higher ball flight, more spin and better precision. The face is forged in a bowl shape that extends from the sole to the toe and topline, a design Cobra calls Speedshell Face. This technology allows the entire face to flex, which gives more forgiveness and longer shots even on low contacts or hits off the toe. To further increase forgiveness and control, Cobra has implemented a new internal adaptive weight system that places the centre of gravity lower for better energy transfer and higher launch. The soft foam in the hollow construction dampens sounds and vibrations, giving a soft and comfortable feel at impact. DS-Adapt Max is the optimal choice for players who want an iron that simplifies their game and provides increased distance and forgiveness.
